The Pamphy Linns, is a ‘Faerie Glen’ hidden within an old tree plantation. A series of small waterfalls and caves, this hidden landscape is covered in hanging moss and glows green in the sunlight, darkening into shadow when the sun shifts behind the clouds. It is a place full of mystery even on a bright spring day.

I began experimenting with time-lapse video in the Pamphy Linns to record the uncanny light and the way form seemed to shift and change with the movement of the clouds and sun. Filming here inspired me to experiment further with time-lapse in other locations around Sanquhar.
